78 footballers participated in the second day edition of the Solution Football Club screening at the Awka City Stadium on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
AnambraDaily gathered that the screening exercise for the recruitment of new players into the Anambra state-owned football club was designed to prepare the team for its second season in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
A statement by the organizers say the recruitment aims to identify talented players who can strengthen the squad and contribute to the club’s success in the upcoming season.
The statement read: “On the second day of the screening at the Awka Township Stadium, around 78 players showed up to showcase their skills and vie for a spot on the team.
“The turnout indicates the growing interest in the club and the opportunity it presents for players aspiring to compete at a higher level in Nigerian football.
“The selection process is expected to be rigorous as Solution FC seeks to build a competitive squad for the new season.
