PSG sporting Advisor, Luis Campos has finally opened up on the reason behind the club pulled out of the race to sign Nigerian and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen during the last transfer window.
Osimhen was on the wanted list of the French top club during the summer transfer season but the Parc de Prince outfit suddenly went cold as the race for Osimhen’s signature went to heywire between Chelsea and Saudi Club, which eventually fell through.
Speaking on the subject for the first time, Campos said, it was mere speculation.
“Osimhen was obviously considered as one of the options. Our conclusion was that we were very satisfied with Gonçalo Ramos, Kolo Muani, and Marcos Asensio… Did we make an offer? No. We discussed Osimhen like other forwards.”
