First Lady Tinubu Sympathizes with Victims of Borno Flood Tragedy

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has extended her heartfelt condolences to the people of Borno State following the devastating floods that have ravaged parts of the region.

In a statement released today, Senator Tinubu expressed deep sympathy to Governor Babagana Umaru Zulum, his wife, and the entire population of the state as they face the aftermath of the disaster.

“The tragic loss of lives, homes, and livelihoods is an immense burden that no community should have to bear,” the First Lady said, highlighting the profound impact of the flooding on the people of Borno. She assured the victims that her thoughts and prayers are with them during this challenging period.

Senator Tinubu prayed for the resilience of the state in the face of the catastrophe, expressing hope that the community will rise above the tragedy and emerge even stronger. “I pray that Borno State would rise above this tragedy and emerge stronger and more resilient,” she added.

The First Lady also offered prayers for the repose of the souls lost in the disaster, asking for Almighty Allah’s mercy and guidance during these trying times. “May Almighty Allah grant the departed souls Aljanah Firdaus and may you find the strength and hope to overcome these trying times,” she concluded.
