A non-governmental organization, Ochirimma ya Chiozo has commended Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo over his developmental strides on roads construction across the state.

In a statement signed by Ochirimma President, Mr Henry Akpotue and Public Relations Officer, Mr Patrick Akobo Ulaka, the group described the development as affirmation that he was truly the choice of the masses.

It urged the governor to rededicate himself to actualizing his Vision/Agenda for Anambra State.

The Statement reads in part, “We members of the Ochirimma ya Chiozo congratulate you over your developmental strides in Anambra State, the development is an affirmation that you are truly the choice of the people.

“It is time for the Governor to put his hands further on the deck in delivering the dividends of democracy to those who voted enmass for him during the governorship polls.

“We are confident that you will be more dedicated to pursue with more vigour your agenda which is geared towards making Anambra a more united, peaceful and prosperous State.

“We appeal to Anamberians to see the practical developmental activities of Prof Chukwuma Soludo and give him further support.”

While lauding the governor’s continued rural development programmes of his predecessor, Chief Willie Obiano across the State, the group however appealed to him for the perfection of the road linking 3-3 junction and new Tazan Onitsha- Enugu Expressway.

It argued that the link road when completed would decongest the heavy hold-ups at Awka road and 3-3 road junction for more economic activities and stems the tide of rural poverty and rural-urban development.

The group further praised the two in one skill youth program for Anambra youths, saying the programme provided critical resources that would help beneficiaries scale up their business and improve their livelihood.
