Anambra Senators mourn Ubah, say lawmaker’s death robbed Nigerians of his brave contributions

Senators representing Anambra State at the National Assembly have expressed shock over the death of their colleague, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

The lawmakers, Dr Victor Umeh and Tony Nwoye representing Anambra Central and Anambra North Senatorial Districts, respectively described Ubah as a man with large heart, who shouldered burdens of many and was eager to rise to their needs.

They said his death had robbed them of his brave contributions on Issues that concerned Nigeria and its citizens.

The statement reads, “We received with trepidation and deep sorrow, the shocking News of the death of our brother and Distinguished Colleague, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, CON in the early hours of yesterday.

“We were devastated by this tragic Incident and lacked the words to immediately express our deep grief .

“Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah who Represented Anambra South Senatorial District, together with us until his death Represent Anambra State in the 10th Senate of the National Assembly.

“Ebubechukwuzo was a great man of many parts.

“He was a great Businessman, Politician, Philanthropist Extraordinaire, Patriot and robust Lawmaker.

“A man with large heart, he shouldered the burdens of so many people and was always eager to rise to the needs of his people and friends.

“His death has robbed us of his brave Contributions on Issues that concern our people and Nigeria.

“While we embrace the sad reality that he is no more, we are consoled by the giant impacts he left on humanity.

“We commiserate with his immediate family( Wife and Children ), the Nnewi Community, Anambra South Senatorial District, Anambra State, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Nigeria as a whole.

“May his great Soul rest in perfect peace. Adieu our beloved brother, Superman!”
