NSCDC Anambra Commandant to Partner on Security Electronic Institute on Adequate Security

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Anambra State Command has expressed its desire to enter into a strategic partnership with the Electronics Development Institute (ELDI) to enhance security and protection of critical infrastructure in the state.

This was disclosed when NSCDC State Commandant, Comdt. Maku Olatunde received the management of the Institute led by the Acting Managing Director, Engr. Dr. Ogungberno Oluwaseyi who were on a courtesy to his office on Wednesday 26th June, 2024.

NSCDC Anambra State Command, the collaboration aims to leverage ELDI’s expertise in electronics and technology to improve NSCDC’s surveillance and response capabilities, particularly in the areas of Counter-terrorism, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Protection and Intelligence gathering.

The collaboration will also involve joint training programs, technology sharing, and strategic planning to address emerging security threats in the State.

The visit provided the State Commandant, Comdt. Maku Olatunde, an opportunity to exchange ideas, share best practices and explore ways in which both agencies can work together to achieve mutual goals.
