Commissioner Hails Private Sector Parrlticipation in Anambra Schools Development

Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, has described as progressive, the decision by cooperate organizations to contribute to the development of the school system.

Chuma-Udeh who stated this while receiving a delegation from the Keystone Bank LTD explained that Anambra State government, under Prof. Chukwuma Soludo is desirous of bringing education sector to an enviable position and any organization intending to support the move will be greatly appreciated.

She suggested the provision of books to be read for the forthcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination BECE as one of the needed areas of intervention.

Responding, South East Regional Head of the Keystone Bank, Ntomchukwu Emmanuel, accompanied by the Divisional Head South East 1, Ugochukwu Awusi said they were in the Commissioner’s office to find out areas they would intervene in their Corporate Social Responsibility.
