Ahead of its 25th Matriculation ceremony for the 2023/2024 academic session, the Management of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State have cautioned its fresh students against organizing parties.
The event is slated to hold on Friday, 15th March, 2024 simultaneously on a faculty basis at the Igbariam and Uli Campuses of the University between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
According to a statement signed by the registrar of the school, Mr Chris Obi, the university management prohibits any form of party during or after the matriculation ceremony.
“Any student who participates in or organizes any party on this Matriculation day, within or outside the University will be sanctioned by the University.
“Deans of Faculty and Heads of Departments are required to relate this vital information to their students to ensure their compliance with the established rules guiding the conduct of the Matriculation Ceremony.
