At least six persons have been confirmed dead after a three-storey building collapsed at Ochanja market by Woliwo Street Fegge Onitsha, Anambra state.
The three storey building still under construction, reportedly collapsed around 8pm on Monday, February 26. According to the Anambra State Emergency Management Agency, six persons died while 20 other persons were rescued with various levels of injuries.
Some of the workers at the site who escaped death gave an estimate of 50 workers who were working at the site at the time of the collapse.
