Uchenna Onyegbu has been officially appointed as the Acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State.
Onyegbu’s appointment follows expiration of rectorship tenure of Engr. Dr. Francisca Unoma Nwafulugo as Rector Federal Polytechnic Oko on 2nd February, 2024.
The appointment, approved by the Honourable Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, which took effect on 5th February 2024 is for an initial period of six (6) months.
Until this appointment, Mr Onyegbu was the Deputy Rector (Academic) and a chief lecturer in the Department of Public Administration of the institution.
He is a fellow of Professional Secretaries of Nigeria, Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Public Administrators and a member of several other professional bodies.
