Property Developer Calls for Repatriation of investments back to Igboland

A real estate developer, Chief Emeka Anyadubalu has called on citizens of Anambra State living outside the state to invest their property in the state to assist develop the State.

Anyadubalu, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dotland Properties Ltd, gave the advise weekend during the unveiling and groundbreaking ceremony of Paradise City Estate in Enugwu-Agidi in Njikoka Local Government Area of the State.

He expressed regret over random demolition of properties of citizens of Southeast states across the country, arguing that bringing home investments would forestall falling victim of demolition witch-hunting.
According to him, the Paradise City Estate, a subsidiary of the Dotland Properties Limited was inuguarated in compliance with State Government Smart City policy to boost smart entry and exit system and its Think Home Philosophy.

He said, “The Estate is designed to cater for Nigerians yearning for a smart home that ticked all the boxes of luxury, security and affordability.

‘Anyone who buys land from us will have multiple return on investment.”

Anyadubalu praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for creating level praying grounds for investors and for his giant strides in infrastructural development across the state.

“The governor has also done well in area of connecting different parts of the State with quality roads and making life more meaningful to the people.

“When you think of investment, think of Anambra State, and when you think of properties, think of Dotland Properties and Paradise City.

“There’s no single encumberance in getting documents by anyone who buys land from Dotland, as there’s no single issue in the ownership of the properties.

“Enugwu-Agidi where the estate is located is part of the Awka Capital Territory. There is trouble-free acquisition of documents for properties purchased from Dotland,” he added.

Chairman of the occasion and MD/CEO, Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Sir Chido Obidiegwu commended Management of Dotland Properties for their investment, which he said was in line with the vision of the current administration in the State.

Obidiegwu who represented Governor Soludo, revealed that there were over 440 plots of land in the City, each of which sold for N3.5m, with installment or full payment options available, assuring prospective buyers of trouble-free investment and multiple returns.

Describing shelter as one of the basic needs of man, ABS boss highlighted key achievements of Soludo-led administration, especially its vision of making the State liveable and prosperous homeland through human capital development, provision of employment opportunities for the youths.

Guest Speaker at the event and MD/CEO Anambra State Housing Corporation, Chike Anyaonu, represented by Mr. Eni Onwumere, presented overview on the strategic location of the Paradise City and its proximity to the Awka Capital City and the Chinua Achebe International Airport, Umueri.

He also sensitised residents on various housing schemes available for application in the State, urging them to take advantage of the schemes to become house owners.

On his part, Publicity Secretary of Enugwu-Agidi Brotherly Union, Ozo Chidozie Igweonu, who spoke on behalf of President General of the community, Mr. Chukwuebuka Onuorah assured lasting peace in the City; even as he encouraged residents to consider Enugwu-Agidi as first choice investment destination in the state.

The event was attended by Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers in the Nigerian real estate sector, Government officers, State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Dr. Odogwu Emeka Community and Religion Leaders among others.
