Family of Nkwoemeka of Abba community, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State has raised the alarm over whereabouts of their daughter, Judith.

Judith, a suspected lesbian, was said to have began lesbianism practice while in primary school and later in her adulthood, lured scores of girls into the act.

Anambra Daily gathered that police and other security operatives had severally beamed their searchlights on the suspect’s family in a bid to arrest her to face 14 years imprisonment for her evil practice, but had met brick walls as she always escaped being caught.

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday in Onitsha, mother of Judith, Mrs. Cecillia Nkwoemeka said the daughter had never been a lesbian from birth, wondering where she got infected.

“My daughter, Nkwoemeka Judith, was not born a lesbian, how she got this we don’t know.

“This evil practice has prompted security operatives to always storm our home in Abba to look for her. Sometimes we disagree with them over how they ransack our house, in search of Judith.

“Out of fear of killing she fled our home since August 10, 2021, and we have not set our eyes on her till date. Security operatives in collaboration with local vigilante group, have been laying ambush to arrest her and we are not happy about it.

“I am aging and will like to know the where-abouts of my daughter before I die. I blame the Nigerian Police and other security operatives for the disappearance of my daughter for over two years.

“She is not the only lesbian in Nigeria. There are others, even in government. Is it because we are poor that the security will not allow her to breath free air?” she querried.

Corroborating Judith’s mother in expressing her grievances, family friend of the Nkwoemekas, Cynthia Okereke argued that Judith’s offence did not warrant being hunted like an animal by security operatives.

“Since August 10, 2021 Nkwoemeka Judith fled for safety, we have not seen or heard from her. If she is dead or alive nobody can tell.

“She ran away because she doesn’t want to lose her life. Even if she committed offence of lesbianism, she should not be hunted to be killed like an animal by Nigerian security operatives,” she posited.
