The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Anambra State Command said it has rescued a 23-year-old woman and her four underaged children from a suspected human trafficker.

The Public Relations Officer, Okafor Anthony in a statement, said the male suspect, from Benin Republic had falsely assumed a Nigerian identity to lure the woman for sexual exploitation.

He said the suspect had moved his victim from Anambra to Ogun State where she faced all manner of exploitation and abuse with the kids.
