The Founder and Chairperson of Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation, Her Majesty Dr. Uba Iwunwa (Queen Ugobeze) has been appointed the Vice president and Executive Director of the World Peace Rebirth Initiative, a foremost Non-governmental organization championing global peace, justice and fair play.
Dr. Uba, a Nigerian-Canadian Peace Ambassador, Music Artist, Actress and the #1 International bestseller author, confirmed the appointment over the weekend in a statement issued through her media aide, Ambassador Olisemeka Obeche.
She described her appointment as another opportunity for her to make impact at the global level.
“First of all, I wish to thank the governing council of World Peace Rebirth Initiative for finding me worthy for this appointment. It’s yet a confirmation that my untiring efforts to use my talent and resources for humanitarian services are being recognised.
“Although, I have been involved with some high-profile international organizations championing world peace for over eight years, I’m excited with this latest appointment as it will afford me the opportunity to contribute towards the United Nations Youths SDGs global peace initiative. This is one area that my organization, Ikenga Abiama Dynasty Foundation is committed to.
The NGO had stated in the appointment letter jointly signed by Dr Charles Paradise and Abubakar Garba (President and Secretary) dated September 7, 2023, commended Dr. Iwunwa for her outstanding services in the field of World Humanitarian Aid across the globe, stressing that her unwavering commitment to promoting World Peace and remarkable achievements have not gone unnoticed.
“After careful consideration, the board of trustees is pleased to announce your appointment as the new Executive Director and Vice President of our esteemed organization, World Peace Rebirth Initiative (an NGO). Your voluntary work with UNV Online and UN Observers on UN SDGs Global Peace Campaign Sensitization to the World Youths has demonstrated your dedication to our mission. We extend our warmest congratulations to you on this appointment, and we look forward to your continued dedication to the cause of global peace”, the appointment letter read in parts.
Uba is expected to oversee and manage all aspects of the organization, guiding it towards greater heights. This includes collaborating with philanthropists, government agencies, and international organizations to secure grants that will enable the organization to accomplish its noble objectives.
