3 Underaged Girls Rescued at a Baby-factory in Anambra Community

Three underaged girls have been rescued at a baby factory and child trafficking syndicate bursted in Umunze in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The, Anambra Daily gathered, discovery followed three-month investigation conducted by operatives of the Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG), Orumba South led by Chairman of the Council Area, Prince Neville Uchendu.

According to Uchendu, the girls included Thabita Okoli (14), from Arondizuogu, Imo State; ThankGod Blessing from Bayelsa State and Chineye Mathew (20) from Ihite, Orumba South LGA, Anambra State.

The Orumba South TC Chairman and the AVG team were on their way to hand the victims over to Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obninabo as at time of filing the report.
