Prophet Nkachukwu Jason Nweke has accused some selfish Igbo people of being behind continued detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and not the Federal Government as alleged.

Nweke, of Christ Healing Ministry, Aniocha Akpugoeze, Oji River Local Government Area, Enugu State made the disclosure in Onitsha, Anambra State.

He said the likes of Chief Arthur Eze, the oil guru, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, among others should rise up to the occasion by speaking out to ensure Kanu’s release, insisting he committed no offence to be held such long in the facility of the Department of State Security, DSS.

He said those behind his continued detention would not go scot-free as they would be visited by God.

He said, “It is Igbo people that are holding Nnamdi Kanu and not the Federal Government as made to believe.

“Some of us who are selfish that are stooges to Federal Government, those we call men behind the scene, are responsible for the continued detention of Kanu in the DSS facility in Abuja.

“Abba Kyari, the celebrated suspended Police officer, where is he today, has he not been released. God will definitely visit these people that continue to be the brain behind Kanu’s continued detention.

“I say it as I raise my Bible up and I mean it that they will not go scot-free.”

On coups in Niger and Gabon, he warned, “Unless the rich remember the poor, what will befall those in power will be better imagined than experienced.

“Nigeria that is bestowed with human and material resources has been bastardized by selfish politicians.

“Niger people are our brothers, why must we go to war with them when most Nigerians are hungry. Is it not the poor and hungry Nigerian soldiers that will go there and die in the name of peace mission under ECOWAS.

“All Muslims and Christians in Nigeria should raise up their Bibles and korans in prayer for the unity of Nigeria and ECOWAS.

“We should avoid foreign intervention in our country. Criminals in Nigeria and other West African countries brought in American and British Nationals into our affairs.

“Today our oil is being refined outside and brought back to us as finished product and in turn we buy from the whites, our own oil, it is a pity.

“Our major problem is that the old people refused to vacate office for their children, the young ones, they vow to die in power than to leave office for their children.

“They should allow the youths to take over leadership. Enough of these old horses piloting the affairs of this great country, Nigeria.”
