Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 2023 Election will recover his stolen mandate at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
Senator (Dr.) Tony Nwoye, the senator representing Anambra North District at the 10th National Assembly made this declaration over the weekend while addressing Anambra North Labour Party stakeholders at pre-Thanksgiving event at his country home, Nsugbe.
Nwoye, who described Peter Obi as a political phenomenon that transcends ethnic, religious and party boundaries, stressed that no matter how long it took, God has positioned the former Anambra Governor to be the president that would lead the country into promised land.
Using himself as an example, Nwoye remarked that no political force can stop what God has destined to be.
“Anyone holding a child’s thing, the moment the hands start paining him, he will bring down the thing and the child will recollect his thing.
“I was an example. In 2011, I contested for House of Reps and won, the Certificate of Return was given to me but it did not work out for me. In 2013, I contested the Anambra Governorship it didn’t work out.
“I contested again in 2017 but failed. But, here I am today as the senator representing Anambra North.
” So, what God has destined must happen, no matter the time. And so, shall it be for His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi”,Nwoye said.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of the 2023 Labour Party (LP) Election Monitoring Report of Anambra North to senator Nwoye.
