Police officers’ wives donate foodstuffs to less privileged in Anambra

Wives of Police officers in Anambra State have donated foodstuffs and other materials worth over N700,000 to two Care Giving Centers in the State.
The women under the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) Anambra State Chapter, visited Divine Mercy Orphanage Home, Amawbia and Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, Old, and Tramps (RECDOT) in Ozubulu.
Making the presentations through their executive, Chairperson, Mrs Bolanle Adeoye called on public-spirited individuals to do more for the less privileged in our society.
Responding, Managers of the Care Centres thanked the benefactors for the visit, saying it cheered up the people under their care.
They promised to ensure that the donated items were used solely for the benefits of their wards.
