2 AVG Commanders Bag Award for Dislodging Criminal Gang in Anambra Forest

The Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) has decorated two commanders of the Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) for their key role in dislodging criminal gang that camped at a forest in Anambra West local government area of Anambra state.
NHFSS, through its Deputy Commander General, Chief Ambassador Johnny Machie (Ezi-Umueri), decorated Chief David Onuora Maduneme (Odanike Anam) and Chief Ojukwu Offordile (Ikemba Anam) for their gallantry in flushing out the criminals kidnapping and terrorizing residents of Anambra West and East in recent months.
Anambradaily gatheted that the NHFSS chief praised the courage and tactical discipline displayed by the two AVG officers in dislodging the hodlums that camped at the forest of Anambra West.
Machie was quoted as saying that the ability of the security Vigilante men to dislodge and restore peace in Anambra East and West local government areas attracted the attention of the Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service, and the decision for their recognition.
The awardees were subsequently hosted by the lawmaker representing Anambra East And West Federal Constituency at the 10th National Assembly, Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Aniekwe (Macpee), at his office at the National Assembly Complex Abuja.
