Police Declare Manhunt for Kidnappers of Popular Native Doctor, ‘Akwa Okuko Tiwara-aki’

The Anambra State Police Command has declared manhunt for abductors of a popular native doctor popularly known as ‘Akwa Okuko Tiwara-aki.

The native doctor known for his flamboyant lifestyle and pledge to use animal sacrifice to make customers rich, was reportedly kidnapped from his hotel located at Oba in Idemmili North LGA, Anambra State on Sunday night.

According to a close source, the man regarded as one of the strongest and richest witch doctors in Anambra was kidnapped at a hotel while two of his personal aides were shot dead.

“Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki na Oba has been Kidnapped last night in his Triple P Hotel. Two of his securities men were shot dead. Where is Nwa Ocha and Odeshi?”, the source said.

Recall that the millionaire native doctor had in 2022 built and launched two hotels, regarded as the biggest in Oba, where popular business man, Obinna Iyiegbu alias Obi Cubana hails from.

Reacting, in an official statement issued through its Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police authorities confirmed that the incident took place around 11:30pm on Sunday.
According to the police spokesman, “CP Aderemi Adeoye has ordered that operatives go after his abductors and ensure his release.”
