One Ibrahim Omo-Alijana has applied to divorce his wife, Kudirat Ibrahim at Area Court, Center-Igboro, Ilorin, for alleged stubborn behaviour of his wife.
However, the respondent told the court that she could not leave her marriage after six children.
She pleaded the court to beg her husband against divorce.
The presiding Judge, AbdulQadir Uma, said that the court does not encourage divorce and alway give room for settlement.
Umar therefore adjourned the case to July 12, for report of settlement or continuation of hearing. (NAN)
