Former President General of Obiofia, Nnewi-Nnewi, Anambra State, Chief Mike Ibeokonkwo (Ifeutor Anaedo) has given reasons for supporting reelection bid of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah.

Recall that Sen Ifeanyi Ubah who is representing Anambra South senatorial zone has just emerges victorious in the February 25 National Assembly elections.

Ubah defeated Engr Chris Azubogu of APGA, Chief Chris Uba of PDP, Barr Obinna Uzor of LP to secure his return to the red chamber of the National Assembly.

Chief Ibeokonkwo who was speaking with journalists in his residence noted that the victorious senator has brought responsibility and responsiveness into representation.

He noted that many senators have represented the zone before the emergence of Sen Ubah without doing anything for the constituents.

“Sen Ubah is so loved by the people of Anambra South because of his open door policy, he is always available for the people unlike some of his predecessors who normally disappear from the scene only to appear during election period.

“Apart from his closeness to his constituents, he has also been moving motions and sponsoring bills that would enhance a prosperous Anambra State in general and Anambra South senatorial zone in particular

“He is one representative who mixes  with the people not minding their social level in the society, you need to listen to his interactive radio program with his constituents, you marvel at the level of his openess and sincerity of purpose, this he is doing when some of his contemporaries are busy building impregnable walls round themselves.

“Before the election, the whole of Nnewi-Nnewi ward 1 mobilized for his reelection, some prominent persons in the ward like Chief Chukwunenye Onyejuruawa(Obi Obiofia, Emma Orji; Orji (Okosisi) Nnewichi ward 1 Chairman, Alphonsus Onedibe and myself humble self ensured that the performing senator got maximum votes in our area.” Ifeutor Anaedo revealed.
