Action Alliance (AA) says it has commenced sales of intent and nomination forms for Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi governorship elections scheduled for 2023.
Mr James Vernimbe, the National Secretary of the party, said this on Sunday in a statement containing the Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2023 Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi governorship election.
โSales of intent and nomination forms commences from Dec. 12, 2022 to April 10, 2023.
โScreening of governorship aspirants begins April 11 and end on April 13, 2023.
โAll appeals will be on April 14 and the governorship primaries will be on April 16, 2023,โ he said.
He said that the intent form would be sold at N5 million, while the nomination form would be sold at N15 million.
Vernimbe said however, that youth and women aspirants of not more than 35 years of age would pay only 50 per cent of the cost of the forms.
โIntent/Nomination forms for persons with disability (PWD) is free of charge, however governorship aspirant under this category shall pay administrative charge of only N2 million.
โThere would be no refund of money after payment,โ he said.(NAN)
