Fire Guts Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s Chemical Store at Tv

A chemical store at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Anambra State was burnt in a fire outbreak on Wednesday.
The State Fire Chief, Engr Dr. Martin Agbili who disclosed this in a statement, attributed the cause of fire to bush burning.
He said, “Yesterday 9th Nov 2022, at about 1648hrs (4.18pm), Anambra State Fire Service received a distress call of fire outbreak in one of the buildings inside Unizik.
“Immediately, we deployed our firefighters and fire truck to the fire scene.
“Place of call: Inside Unizik beside the old Library site. Cause of fire: Bush burning
“The fire partly damaged a chemical store but we were able to extinguish it. Fire kills, but you can prevent it.”
