The Okija Committee on Education led by Chief Emmanuel Ekwegbalu on Tuesday visited two public secondary schools in Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State to familiarize with the principals, teachers and students.
The committee seized the opportunity to sensitize the students on the norms, values, ethics and etiquettes of school mannerism especially as it concerns their academics and morals.
The representatives of the committee, Chief Pauly Ezekwe, Hon. Mrs. Ekwy Onyido and Mr. Udemadu Nzubechukwu, also admonished the students and charged them to shun indiscipline and other vices at all cost as it could mar their future academic prospects.
The further stressed the need for students, especially the Senior Secondary Three (SS3) to study their books and prepare for their external examinations coming up in May/June, 2023.
The Principals of the two schools appreciated the team and lauded them for this sound initiative towards reviving the lost glory and ancient landmark in our home schools.
