Soludo’s Daughter Hosts Anambra Fashion Expo 2022

All is now set for the most anticipated event of the year – the maiden edition of the Anambra Fashion Expo (AFE) themed “in-between times for all times”.

A statement by Head, Media and Publicity, Anambra Fashion Expo 2022, Franklin Onwubiko, said the event is being put together by AORAH Fashion brand, a clothing brand, making huge waves in the United Kingdom. 

Ms Adaora Soludo is the CEO of the AORAH fashion brand and convener of the Anambra Fashion Expo.

The statement reads, “Fashion, from time immemorial, has remained one of mankind’s modes of expression; it has equally over time, transformed to embody and exert the essence of man’s identity.

“The goal of the AFE2022 is to activate the fashion ecosystem of Anambra state. The platform is poised to expose and give visibility to budding creative talents in Anambra state’s fashion sphere.

“The platform seeks to celebrate and project the ingenuity inherent in Ndi Anambra; also give young people the platform to service the globe with their crafts.

“The Anambra Fashion Expo is a one-day event and is billed to hold on Friday, 16th September, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, Awka.

“The event is divided into three segments: 

Exhibition by over 50 registered fashion brands in Anambra and beyond. This commences from 9am till 6pm.

A masterclass from seasoned fashion enthusiasts and brand specialists. They include, and in no particular order: Nduka Udeh, Lilian Chiamaka, Chioma Ogbudimkpa, Nnenna Nwizu and Ozinna Anumudu. 

“This promises to be very impactful as our facilitators have been carefully chosen to do justice to the topics which range from global trends to export opportunities in the fashion ecosystem. This runs from 9am to 12 noon.
The high point of the event is the ‘Runway show’ which kicks off at exactly 3pm till 6pm. Over 50 designers are set to grace the runway with their creative outputs.

“The lead sponsor of the event is the Fidelity Bank of Nigeria. Other sponsors include the GSS Group developers of the Dubai Estate, Royal Foods, Senatorch Group, and the Anambra State Signage & Advertisement Agency (ANSAA).

“It is important to note that participation in the event is absolutely free. Join us tomorrow as we create history together!”
