Medical Experts Commences Free Medical Outreach Sponsored by Senator Stella Oduah in Onitsha

A team of Medical experts from Mercy Hour Foundation Abuja in collaboration with Federal Medical Center (FMC) Owerri has arrived Onitsha for free medical checkup courtesy of Senator Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah ,the Senator representing Anambra North in the National Assembly.

Speaking at St Dominic Catholic Church Fegge, one of the venues of the outreach, the Director General, Senator Stella Oduah free medical outreach Hon. Iwuchukwu Samuel Chinedu said that before now, Senator Oduah have been doing it to the entire people of Anambra North Senatorial zone.

”Anambra North Senatorial zone consists of Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Ogbaru, Oyi, Ayamelum, Anambra East and Anambra West.

“Her aim of doing this is because of rate of ill health, she cares about the health condition of her people because she believes that the moment one is in good condition/health, he/she can attend to other things, health first.

“This is the fourth batch since this year, we have reached Ayamelum, Anambra East and Anambra West and now in Onitsha South and it will continue as long as She is the Senator, so that it will reach all the senatorial zones.

”We have qualified Doctors and Nurses who check Patients and administered drugs, which the Patients have testified to, saying that the drugs are very effective.

In an interview with the Information Officer, Dr Emmanuel Obi, the Chief Operating Officer Mercy Hour Foundation said that the services is for the down trodden who finds it difficult to access health care.

“What makes her to keep doing this monthly free medical care is because of the testimonies of the Patients, the drugs being administered, impact positively, like the eye glasses, these keep boosting her moral and keeps her doing it without stopping.

“This is a comprehensive free medical outreach, a lot of illnesses are being taken care of, like eye check up, checking of vitals, blood sugar, malaria and other illnesses, then free eye glasses, treatments and drugs.

Dr Nwosu who is also the Chief Medical Director, Senator Oduah Free Medical Outreach advised everybody to utilize the opportunity because it is rare,” Dick and Harry should come forth and participate, to know what is wrong with him/her because if you hide sickness, sickness will hide you.

In her testimonies, Miss Chinecherem Chibundu said that she have been checked and given drugs, ”I want to commend her because she is a distinguished Senator, both on the free treatment and eye glasses.

”It is in her time that I know a Senator can construct roads, dug boreholes and other tangible things which the previous one couldn’t do,

”I am also one of the beneficiaries of the #30,000 being paid by Senator Oduah for farming, The money is being paid to set of people each in a month, then another month another set.

Mrs Gloria Obi in her words, said ”I heard of the free medical care by Senator Oduah and the positive impact of the drugs, so I decided to come.

”I pray for her good health, she will be unstoppable in all her endeavours and I am advising other people to come and check themselves because health is wealth.
