Anambra Government to Empower 90 Entrepreneurs with Start-up Parks

Anambra state government has pledged to engage Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) team to ensure no fewer than 90 entrepreneurs were empowered across the State.
Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr Obinna Ngonadi made the disclosure while declaring open the National Business Skills Development Initiative (NBSDI) ceremony at Prof Kenneth Dike Central e-Library Awka.
He said the programme is aimed at identifying diverse needs of entrepreneurs and as well empowering them for greater attainments, urging participants to make best use of the opportunity and the equipment to improve businesses.
Delivering his keynote address, Director General SMEDAN, Mr Olawale Fasanya, represented by the Deputy Director Entrepreneurship Development and Promotions Department Abuja, Mrs Fatima Shuaibu assured that the agency would continue to support entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
The participants will go home with the following training equipment at the end of the 4-day programme: laundry, tailoring, hairdressing, catering equipment, among others.
