Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has described Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev’d Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim as exceptionally committed, passionate and visionary leader.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime to felicitate the 60th birthday celebration of the Archbishop, Soludo said Ibezim had piloted the affairs of the Church and selfless service to humanity over the years.
The statement reads, “Governor Soludo joins millions of Ndi Anambra and well-wishers to acknowledge God’s blessings on His Grace life as he marks three years of Archiepiscopacy, twelve years episcopacy, twenty years of marriage and thirty eight years of service in God’s vineyard.
“I commend the exemplary leadership you have provided over the years as an Anglican Prelate and your pious devotion to the service of the Lord.
“Anambra State, Nigeria and indeed, the global community are proud of the exceptional commitment, passionate and visionary leadership you have provided in diligently piloting the affairs of the Church and selfless service to humanity over the years.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Anambra State, I congratulate you most warmly and also deeply appreciate the support you have provided to my administration in our journey towards building a liveable and prosperous homeland.
“Therefore, as you celebrate this landmark occasion of your Diamond Jubilee and other fourfold celebrations , I pray that God will grant you grace, good health, long life and more wisdom in the years ahead.”
