Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has said there was no reason to celebrate as a people when roads and many projects were yet to be fixed.

He said it was only proper to roll out drums in celebration when the basic infrastructures are put in place.

He also reminded guests that he applied for this job to which Ndi Anambra elected him.

“We are not in a total celebrating mood in Anambra state, until we fix the roads and many projects staring at us, only then shall we have reason to celebrate fully,” Soludo emphasized

He added, “One striking thing about the day was when Governor Soludo took to the stage and described his wife as God’s gift to him. The Governor went on to recall how his wife has been very supportive during his days as the Central Bank Governor, his eventual sojourn in the world of politics; how she took care of the home-front and other wonderful things she did as wife and mother, while he was on national duties.
