RAPHINHA HEADS TO CHELSEA
Chelsea are edging closer to prising Raphinha from Leeds United. Both clubs have reached agreement for £60/65m total fee, for the Brazilian winger. Arsenal tried to sign the player until yesterday when Chelsea entered the fray.
Chelsea are trying to reach full agreement with Raphinha and his agent Deco on personal terms with formal announcement imminent.
LUKAKU RETURN TO INTER OFFICIAL
Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter Milan is expected to be announced after his medical test. The Belgian striker landed in Milan around 6.30am Italy time declaring: “I’m really happy to be here”. It’s gonna be his day to sign contracts for comeback to Inter.
He was reportedly on his way to undergo medical tests in Milano this morning preparatory for completion of the deal completed with Chelsea on loan until June 2023. Inter will cover Lukaku’s full salary. €8m guaranteed fee plus add-ons to Chelsea.
RICHARLISON SWITCH TO SPURS:
Tottenham are progressing in talks with Everton for Richarlison. Negotiations for the transfer of the Brazilian attacker are already well advanced on personal terms, while discussions between clubs will continue this week. Meanwhile, Harry Winks has also been part of the talks – structure of the deal not agreed yet.
MALACIA TO MAN UNITED!
Tyrell Malacia agents and Manchester United officials are in direct contact today in order to discuss agreement on personal terms. Feelings are positive on Manchester United side to get the deal done soon. Feyenoord would receive €15m plus €2m in add-ons, more than Olympic Lyon’s proposal.
LEWANDOWSKI EDGES CLOSER TO BARCELONA:
Robert Lewandowski has received communication from Barcelona of their new proposal to Bayern believed to be around €40m guaranteed plus ad ons.
The Polish hitman has already confirmed his intention to wait again for Barça to push the deal, thanks to the relationships between his agent and Laporta.
KOULIBALY ON CHELSEA WANTED LIST:
Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, has emerged as one of the defensive players on Chelsea’s wanted list as the London club continue searching for two centre backs. The Senegalese defender is out of contract with Napoli in 2023. There are conversations also on Koulibaly alongside de Ligt, Aké, Koundé.
JULIEN HEADS TO GERMANY:
German Bundesliga club, Schalke04 are set to sign Christopher Jullien from Scottish Club, Celtic. The transfer, a loan deal with buy option is already wrapped and the player undergoing medical. Contract expected to be signed later today, after medical tests.
BOTMAN JOINS NEWSCASTLE:
Sven Botman has formerly joined Newcastle on a permanent deal for €37m fee after long negotiation. Contract signed until June 2027. Newcastle have always been there since January – and now they have their top target.
