Prof Orogbu Receives Labour Party’s Certificate of Return for Awka North-South Federal Constituency Election

The National Chairman of Labour Party, Mr. Julius Abure on Friday, presented to Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu certificate of return, having beaten two-seating lawmakers in the primary election to emerge the standard-bearer of the Labour Party for Awka North and South Federal Constituency for the 2023 general elections in Anambra state.

While presenting the certificate of return at the party’s national office in Abuja, Mr. Abure, congratulated Prof. Orogbu on her victory, and assured that the party hierarchy would support her and other party flag bearers in the main election.

He expressed optimism that Prof. Orogbu would emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections, and urged her not to leave any stone unturned in her quest to enter the green chamber.

Responding, Prof. Orogbu thanked the party leadership for all the support, and assured that she would not rest on her oars throughout the electioneering process.

She equally seized the opportunity to urge ‘Ndi Anambra’ and indeed, entire Nigerians to use the opportunity of continuous voters’ registration extension to get their permanent voters’ card (PVC).
