Hon. Victor Jideofor Okoye, a Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Anambra East/West Federal Constituency has appealed to the leadership and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to zone the seat to Anambra West for political equity and fairness.

Hon. Okoye, who represented the Anambra West state constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly argued that time had come to give people from the local government the opportunity to represent the constituency at the national assembly.

Obama-Obie, as he is addressed, made the case for zoning the rep seat while addressing Anambra East APC members during stakeholders meeting last weekend.
AnambraDaily gathered that the meeting was attended by the APC executives and other stakeholders across Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.

Anambra East APC Chairman, Hon. Chuks Chinweoba, who introduced Hon. Victor Jideofor Okoye to Anambra East APC members during the meeting, noted that APC leaders zoned the house of Representatives ticket to Anambra West, hence the need for party stakeholders to rally behind Hon. Okoye whom he described as a credible candidate.

Okoye in his brief remarks at the meeting, thanked the leaders of APC Anambra East and West for choosing him to fly the party’s flag in the 2023 national assembly election and promised to carry everybody along during campaign and after election to the Green Chamber of the national assembly.

The meeting also witnessed signing of the APC House of Representatives nomination forms sponsored by the Party Executives and Stakeholders for Hon Okoye.
